This course will prepare participants to successfully pass the CWNA certification exam #PW0-100 to become a Certified Wireless Network Associate (CWNA). |

- Wireless LAN Infrastructure Devices
Introduction to all the types of wireless LAN hardware you will encounter as a wireless LAN administrator
- Antennas and Accessories
Antennas, RF Amplifiers, RF Attenuators, Lightning Arrestors, RF Connectors, RF Cables, RF Splitters, Pigtails
- Wireless LAN Organizations and Standards
The roles of the IEEE and FCC, the IEEE 802.11 family of standards, and other emerging technologies and standards
- The 802.11 Network Architecture
Client connection process to an access point, wireless LANs terms, and power management
- Physical and MAC Layers
How wireless LAN stations communicate with one another, and wireless LAN collision handling
- Troubleshooting Wireless LANs
Common obstacles to successful implementation of a wireless LAN, and how to troubleshoot them
